But it’s an arc. It still feels like something is going on. And there will be a moment when a bunch of people get excited about one song which, played a different way, wouldn’t have gotten them excited. But then there are people who play song after song with no story, and no arc—serious songs that I take really seriously. Something about that cheapens the songs in a weird way to me
